Hello, I think you should cut down on the platforming sections that don't require you to use one of your friends. The parts where I had to use my friends with all their different shapes was great. It seemed like just by changing their shape you can get new utility out of them. I'd like to see more levels with bigger and weirder shapes. Maybe ditch the "only one" idea from the jam :D

Sweety is a 2D game made in 48 hours for the GMTK Game Jam 2019. The theme was "Only one". In my case, it's interpreted with only one inventory slot.
It was a real challenge because I realized all the different parts of the game : art, design, code, musics and sounds.
Each level has a different atmosphere, whether through these visuals or its music. I wanted to introduce a new game mechanics per stage.
I hope you'll enjoy it ^_^
You can press escape to restart a level if you're stuck or change the volume of the music.

Hey =D Thank you very much for your feedback. Indeed the game is limited because I wanted to fit to the theme of the game jam. The use of several characters within the same level would probably be much more interesting.
Managed to get myself stuck on respawn on the level with the falling blocks. I'm assuming it's because the player velocity isn't being set to zero when they get teleported back to the starting point.
Fun little platformer. Liked the visuals and how they changed from level to level.

I like it very much, the only problem is that some times the guys that i drop disappear right after i jump. That might be a bug or something in the mechanics that i didn't quite get, but still a good job
